Title	Project Manager

Job Summary	As a Project Manager you will play a vital role in leading project teams responsible for building and maintaining our highly-advanced technology suite and its supporting infrastructure. This is your opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that is committed to instituting project management excellence with an Agile approach. Our firm is rapidly growing, and we need a highly skilled project manager to guide our teams build business value. You will own that responsibility and lead the advancement of our talented team's continued efforts toward premiere products and services. While tracking project milestones will be par for the course, your role here will be considerably more influential as you proactively work to MAKE things happen - not just report on them happening.
Responsibilities	• Lead one or more delivery teams in an agile software development environment. • Work with relevant business units to understand the vision, objectives, and intended business value behind the enhancements, initiatives, and platforms being proposed for development. • Ensure the proper level of communication within and between the technical delivery team and business unit to collaboratively develop and improve applications that support business needs. This includes facilitating meetings for project identification, evaluation, and prioritization. • Track and share status with project teams to maximize productivity and efficiency. • Focus on team health and remove obstacles to provide a positive work environment for team members. • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with business team, developers and vendors. • Maintain and tune agile-based project management life cycle processes.
Qualifications	• Experience with Scrum, Extreme Programming or another agile development methodology. • 4 to 7 years of project management experience. • Experience with IT infrastructure and software development projects in the Financial Services sector required, • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus. • Eagerness to work within a dynamic, client-focused, service-oriented environment. • Technical and practical knowledge of project management methodology. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate cross-functionally. • Strong negotiating, facilitation and influencing skills to bring issues to resolution. • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in time-critical situations. • Capital Markets and Trading experience a plus.
