Title Senior Change Manager
 
Location Deerfield, IL
 
Job Summary This person will focus on the impact to people during changes within business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary focus will be creating and implementing change management plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement, helping to ensure sustained business impact using key change initiative objectives. Equally important will be driving consistency of change efforts across the company, with clear visibility to business strategy.
 
Responsibilities • Lead the Change Management Strategy
o Source resource requirements through internal collaboration or external vendor support
o Support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans
o May provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions
• Define Change Strategy
o Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the people side of change caused by projects and change efforts
o Develop a change management strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change, the groups being impacted by the change, and the company's overall business and strategic objectives
o Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance
o Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans - including initial impact analysis, stakeholder engagement, communication plan, sponsorship roadmap, training needs analysis, business readiness//measurement strategy as well as organization and incentives assessment
o Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes against targeted business objectives
• Manage Change Enablement
o Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions
o Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success
o Maintain a well-integrated team to act as gatekeepers for all change effort requests made within the division and from other business units that touch the pharmacy business
 
Qualifications • 10 years of experience related to successful delivery of change management work in the disciplines of change management methodology
• Experience leading large-scale organizational change effort is required
• Experience in retail and/or health care environments is preferred
• Comfortable working within a matrix organization
• Strategic mindset; clear focus on strategy and business objectives and creating line of sight to change requirements
• Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
• Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
• Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
• Excellent active listening skills
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills
• Strong analytic and decision making abilities
• Must be a team player and able to work with and through others
• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
• Demonstrable experience driving employee engagement in the day to day work a plus
• Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is desirable
