Title Project Manager II - Mortgage PMO
 
Location Downers Grove, IL
 
Job Summary As a Project Manager II, you will be a member of PNC’s Mortgage Division. You will be based in Downers Grove, IL, within the Corridors III complex where you will work with other members of the Program Management Office (PMO) supporting the line of business. Your responsibilities include building frameworks for and leading complex, cross-functional business initiatives while leading various aspects of the development and implementation of the PMO

 
Responsibilities Job Description

• Lead projects and programs from medium to high complexity with an average budget of $100k - $1 million, duration of 6 to18 months and a team of 10-30 members

• Concurrently manage multiple large scale business critical initiatives

• Convert high level business ideas into actionable projects and programs

• Provide project leadership for management, cost control and execution of new systems development projects, enhancements and system release upgrades

• Manage project scope, risks, resolves issues, manage meetings and drives projects to completion with minimal supervision

• Prepare and track project plans, estimates and schedules to ensure business deliverables are completely satisfied, on-time and within budget

• Build alliances with business analysts, architects, clients, operations and vendors to work collaboratively across business segments

• Demonstrate leadership, courage and a bias for action

• Mentor and provide coaching/feedback to less experienced project managers

• Demonstrate an understanding of core business principles with an ability to create business cases, work breakdown structures, project plans, milestones, dependencies, responsibilities and timelines.

 


 
Qualifications Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required

• 3+ years of experience working within the Mortgage industry required

• 5+ years of project management experience leading medium/complex initiatives required

• Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) preferred

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

• Experience working with members of executive management team preferred
