| Job Summary |
The Project Manager of Center Planning & Development will be responsible for the cross-coordination and completion of projects related to vascular access center growth and development to include the construction of new centers, new procedure rooms, conversion of centers to space shares or ambulatory surgery centers, closure of centers, and implementations of new service lines. In this role, you will set timelines, assign responsibilities, communicate, monitor and summarize progress of project activities to ensure project is completed on time and/or on budget. Additional responsibilities include preparing reports for management in regard to project status, and collaborating with teammates to resolve issues impacting project completion. In this position, you will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and may perform a variety of functions related to center planning, growth, development, and maintaining existing center operations. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected in this capacity. The Project Manager of Center Planning & Development will report to the Director of Center Planning & Development.

| Responsibilities |
• Schedules and leads internal kick-off meeting to begin transition of signed Management Service Agreement (MSA) with physician practice from business development to regional operations director
• Develops and manages up to 14 projects plans. Manages weekly dashboard for all projects under management and conducts weekly center planning and development update conference calls (90 minutes)
• Develops and maintains tracking tools for status of critical activities at a detailed level
• Conducts/attends meetings, facilitates conference calls, or creates written communication to follow up with all resources on status of project deliverables
• Monitors progress to ensure key activities are completed on time and works with functional areas to assist with problems. Functional department maintains accountability for completion of activity/deliverable
• Identifies problems, obstacles, and other issues related to project progress. Works collaboratively with internal department/function to identify solutions and to work toward resolution. Tracks problems and timeline slips to mitigate impact on project implementation
• Utilizes master project plan/dashboard to identify systemic issues, problems and opportunities for streamlining/increasing efficiency. Works across functional departments to establish and implement creative solutions, process changes, and/or action plans
• Follows project progress through completion or until a smooth transition of activities has occurred with the appropriate functional department (i.e. regional director, center manager, or other)
• Conducts post mortem analysis of each center opening to identify key learning objectives and areas of continuous improvement
• Administrative Duties
o Ensures central and electronic filing of documentation - filing/scanning of key documentation (MSA, pro-forma, lease, center information gathering, physician credentialing, etc.)
o Distributes key practice or center development related documentation to the functional areas as required
o Oversees/completes applications for licensures, permits, and certifications required for the operation of the vascular access center (state/city permits, business license, DEA, CLIA)
o Maintains/updates databases/spreadsheets associated with center development and tracking.
o Assists with the development, updating, and maintaining of policies, procedures, and other written materials that document the functional activities of the center planning and development team
• Ad-hoc construction and facilities support - assist, as needed, the management of facilities and construction in resolving maintenance/operational related issues for the Vernon Hills home office or operating vascular access centers
• Other duties as assigned
• Up to 5% travel required

| Qualifications |
• Bachelor degree in related field preferred
• Project Management Institute (PMI) certification preferred
• Minimum three years experience as a project manager leading cross-functional teams. Healthcare industry experience preferred
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MicroSoft Word and Excel required; Intermediate proficiency with MicroSoft Outlook; experience with project management software a plus
• Ability to develop project plans and schedules
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with an acute ability to listen attentively and to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization
