Job Summary Job Title: IT Project Manager
Reports to: IT Senior Project Manager
Division: Technology

Providing project management for one or more product areas within the technology team. This is a full time, direct hire position with an established, but rapidly growing technology company.
 
Responsibilities Project Management

• Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.​
• Identifies resources needed and assigns responsibilities to the team.​
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of project deliverables and scope.​
• Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to stakeholders/​clients.​
• Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.​
• Support Quality Assurance procedures and ensures projects are properly handed over to the QA Department for testing.​
• Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.​
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.​
• Plans and manages regular software releases
• Responsible for the management of technical project(s) from initiation through implementation, includes: planning, analysis, design, development and implementation.​
• Assists in developing business and functional requirements and provides guidance in the development of use cases
• Acts as the Scrum Master in daily stand up meetings
• Foster a cohesive team relationship with all levels and types of team resources

• Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor.​
• Inspires coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence.​
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change .​

Stakeholder/​Client Management

• Manages day-to-day client/​stakeholder interaction.​
• Sets and manages client/​stakeholder expectations.​

• Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.​
• Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.​


 
Qualifications • Minimum of four years of combined Business Analyst and Project Management experience in a dynamic fast paced software development environment.​
• A minimum of two years of Project Management experience
• Experience with Agile/​Scrum, formal training or Scrum Master certification a plus
• Familiarity with PMI Body of Knowledge desired; PMP certification a plus
• Multi-project experience as a Project Manager working through all phases of the SDLC
• Expert at creating and managing Project Plans to associated budgets and timelines
• Experience managing both technical and functional project resources
• Ability to resolve production release issues across business and technology teams as well as broader strategic or systemic issues that are creating inefficiencies or hindering progress.​ Resolve project issues across business and technology teams
• Strong leadership and proactive issue and risk management
• Comfortable executing projects using multiple methodologies including Waterfall and Agile/​Scrum as required
