Allstate Insurance Company has an exceptional career opportunity for a Product/State Filing Project Manager in our Northbrook, IL office.

The purpose of this department is: To develop, file and implement state filed and non-filed forms for annuity and life products. Strong project management, organization and communication skills are required. The position involves close interaction with staff from functional areas within product as well as across other Areas of Responsibility such as legal, tax, technology, marketing, etc.

The scope of this job is:To develop, file, implement and lead/manage multiple projects with varying deadlines on state filed forms for various lines of business, including life and annuity products
 
Responsibilities The individual will be responsible for: Serving as overall project lead for State Filing projects of a moderate to complex variety
Contract Development - lead and assist in the development of state filed documents, utilize historical data, route for review and obtain approval from all business areas
State/Federal Filings - prepare and gather necessary requirements to file documents with state departments of insurance, manage/research objections, work with actuaries, legal and any other required business areas to ensure appropriate and accurate responses, gain state department approvals, establish relationships with the state departments of insurance and gain efficiencies with filings
Implementation - work with other business areas to implement compliant state filed forms, communicate accurate and timely reporting and review test cases from technology
Miscellaneous - responsible for completing various requests such as research, periodic reporting, market conduct exams, etc.
 
Qualifications Experience Required:Minimum 3 - 5 Years Contract State filing experience required
SERFF experience required
Written Communications required
Project management experience
Related insurance knowledge
Forms development and/or forms related experience a plus

Good communication skills (written/verbal)

Great team player
Computer Proficiency:MS Office Suite
Adobe Software Programs
