I. GENERAL INFORMATION

The PMI Chicagoland Chapter newsletter is a key communication tool for the Chapter. The Chapter sends a newsletter to over 3000 members ten months of the year. In July and August, the Chapter does not publish a monthly newsletter.

The Chapter accepts announcements, notices, or advertisements based on the following conditions:

• All items for publication are subject to editorial review.

• The Chapter requires all advertisements be closely related to project management issues / topics.

• The Chapter gives highest priority in terms of any space limitations to our Yearly sponsors’ advertisements, announcements, and time-sensitive notices.

• A completed advertising order form must accompany advertising requests.

• The chapter invoices on a monthly basis. Early cancellation of discounted orders may result in an additional billing if cancellation voids or alters the discount.

II. PUBLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Advertisements may be accepted for publication with the following conditions:

• All advertisements for publication must adhere to our advertising policy.

• All advertisements must be in “publication-ready information” format.

• A completed advertising order form must accompany advertising requests. See download link below.
“Publication-ready information” means electronically-transferable writing and graphics, camera-ready art or logos, and/or typed information. Publication-ready art or graphic work, preferably in PDF but we will accept TIFF or JPEG formats. Publication-ready information must be submitted by the deadline date listed in the chart below to appear in the next month's issue. Our newsletter producer is available for a limited amount of consultation regarding the design and submission of publication-ready information. In general, publication-ready information will not be returned.

Advertisements in publication-ready format, and a completed advertising form should be submitted via email directly to the Advertising Manager at admanager@pmi-chicagoland.org.

III. ADVERTISING RATES

The chapter invoices on a monthly basis. Charges are determined by the size of the display and the number of issues in which the display appears. Use the chart below to determine your charge.

Advertisement Policy (last updated March 2005)

Advertisements submitted to appear in the newsletter or on the website will be reviewed for content and applicability to a general chapter audience. Advertisements for events and services closely related to project management issues / topics will be considered for publication. Final approval rests with the Director PR-Marketing and the VP Communications of the Chicagoland PMI Chapter. Advertising space is limited so the chapter cannot guarantee all submitted advertisements will be published. Priority will be given to advertisers with longer term advertising commitments when space limitations exist.
