Earn PDUs

Professional Development Units (PDUs) are required for certification renewal for both certified Project Management Professionals (PMPs) and certified Program Management Professionals (PgMPs).  Each certified professional must earn 60 PDUs in a 3-year certification cycle.

Below are listed several common ways to earn PDUs.  These are listed with the intent of being used as a tool, but do not apply to all certified professionals in all cases.  PDUs must be submitted personally at PMI.org under the Maintain your Credentials page by each certified professional.  More detailed information about PDUs can be found on the Ways to Earn PDU's page on the PMI.org website.
