New 2-day course – Leading Project Teams with Emotional Intelligence
now being offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Chicagoland Chapter
We are excited to offer a new 2-day course for project managers who want to improve their effectiveness and grow in their career through emotional intelligence. The class is taught by Anthony Mersino, Author of “Emotional Intelligence for Project Managers; the People Skills You Need to Achieve Outstanding Results”. Anthony is a director of the Chicagoland Chapter and has given a highly successful presentation on emotional intelligence to the chapter membership.
In this new course offering, Anthony will discuss the recent PMI-sponsored research that shows project managers need to be emotionally intelligent. Further, the participants will learn about the specific emotional competencies that have been linked to success in different types of projects. In addition, participants will assess their own emotional strengths and weaknesses and learn how to build on their strengths and mitigate their weaknesses.
